In Conversation With Afolabi Oladele

7 November 2017 | Business, Investors

Having done close to 40 deals in 20 years and with over $1bn fund under management, African Capital Alliance is one of the elders of Sub-Sahara African investments.

We were humbled when Afolabi Oladele agreed to come and wax lyrical with us about his long experience of getting investing in African companies right. Those who know Afolabi will know he has a wealth of eye opening stories to tell from a time before the Africa Rising term was coined or the trend to push investing on the continent as the next big thing.

Afolabi tells us about a deal that was even better than MTN, doing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) as far back as 1998 and developing each company they invest in for exit.
